Google is back in the smartphone sales business. Google Opens New 'Devices' Section In The Google Play Store To Sell The Unlocked Galaxy Nexus. The Samsung-built Galaxy Nexus went on sale Tuesday in the Google Play store for $399 completely unlocked, as well as unladen by carrier contract fees. It's a busy week at the International Trade Commission, which today found that Apple has infringed on a 3G patent held by Motorola. Apple Inc infringed a Motorola Mobility patent in making its popular iPhones & iPads. Administrative Law Judge Thomas B. Pender today issued an initial determination that found Apple guilty of patent infringement by importing and selling the iPhone and 3G-enabled iPads in the U.S. The U.S. International Trade Commission said Apple Inc. violated a Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc.
